Dr. Cesare Chiccoli   : Monte Carlo computer simulations of lattice models of liquid crystals, phase transitions, liquid crystal displays, confined systems (PDLC, aerogels), topological defects.

Dr. Paolo Pasini  : Monte Carlo computer simulations of lattice models of liquid crystals, phase transitions, liquid crystal displays, confined systems (PDLC, aerogels) and topological defects. Paolo is co-founder of the International School of Liquid Crystals in Erice and in charge of many of its activities. He has been Chairman of SICL, the Italian Liquid Crystal Society and in this function he has organized the European Liquid Crystal Conference ECLC05, the SICL-JLCS meetings as well as many other activities.
